SystemSafe
Virtual Storage
now supports Mac OS X clients. You can now access
your account and share files regardless of which
operating system you or your team uses.
From anywhere
you can access the Internet, you can use online
storage to access your data online for anytime,
anywhere access and file sharing.
Setup Instructions (For HTTP connection. See
here for SSL connection)
1.
From the Finder, locate your menu option
of 'Go' and select 'Connect to Server...'
2. At the initial prompt, enter the
HTTP address of Virtual Storage
http://myfiles.netmass.com.
Add a slash '/' and your user ID after
the URL.
(The example to the right is for
user ID 'demouser')
Enter you user ID and password when
prompted.
3. Your online storage account is
now available to you directly from
your Mac as a newly mapped disk. You
should be able to located this new
'disk' on your desktop.
You will now be able to see your
online data.
Setup Instructions for SSL Connection
Mac OS does not natively
support connection to SystemSafe Virtual Storage
with a secured connection (SSL), In order
to use SSL, you must run Goliath, a free application
using WebDAV protocol that allows you to access
your online storage through SSL.
