Feature Set

Encryption. SystemSafe employs AES-128 encryption to ensure maximum privacy and security of all your data. During an account registration, a customer chooses a unique encryption key that is private to them. This key is the only way to decrypt your files after data restore to your PC. Your data is never in un-encrypted form until it returns to your PC.

Automatic Scheduler. SystemSafe has a built-in scheduler that automatically backs up your PC each night. You decide what time. If you miss a scheduled backup (because your PC is offline, for example) SystemSafe will automatically initiate a backup whenever a network connection is detected. The result is that the backup responsibility is removed from end users and ensures that backups are performed consistently.

Versioning. SystemSafe keeps the 10 most recent versions of each file that has changed for a period of 45 days from the date of your last backup. If any of your files are unchanged for 45 days, SystemSafe maintains the two most recent versions of that file. This policy gives you the power to restore any of the last 10 active versions of a file within a 45 day period and helps protect against common viruses, corruption and other threats, a key benefit.

Easy Restore. SystemSafe allows you to restore your files quickly, easily and immediately from within the backup application itself (no waiting around to get emailed Zip files or some other complicated scheme). Point-and-click file restoration can be done 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, and is fully automated. This feature enables recovery of data from lost or damaged files in just minutes.

New and Changed File Detection. SystemSafe uses Block Differential file comparison, which backs up only the changed portions of a file, rather than the whole file. This advanced backup technology results in far shorter and easier backup times.

Common File Technology. SystemSafe is also smart enough to employ Common File Technology. This great feature saves you money by eliminating the need to back up common operating systems and software application files that are already stored at the data center. This means that these "common files" will not be counted against your backup storage space, which reduces your backup account size and saves you money. These files will, however, be available if needed during a restore.

Compression. All backup data is compressed before it is sent to the data centers. This optimizes Internet transmission time, and uses less data storage space. Since our service plans are based on the amount of compressed backup data you store, as opposed to the size of file uncompressed on your PC, this means additional savings for you.

Automatic File Selection. SystemSafe can automatically select all your data files. It automatically determines which files are non-essential, such as clip art or temporary internet files, and does not backup these files. This application feature saves backup time, helps maintain network efficiency, and reduces the size of your backup set and saves you money. Alternately, you can manually determine the folders and files to be backed up.
